Hello! My name is Sheila and I’m the designer behind this lovely brand. Growing up as a child in Accra I was very much attracted to the idea of entrepreneurship as I watched certain family members turn ideas to reality. I was always creative and though practically every creative endeavor brought me joy, designing (which started with making doll clothing) felt particularly satisfying.
When it was time to go to college, I chose to enroll as an Architecture student at KSU because that was the direction my family had dreamed for their creative kid. But to be fair I hadn’t began exploring what it would mean to be a designer till my 1st year of college. I bought my first sewing machine then and fell in love all over again. I’ve always loved a perfect combination of simplicity and extravagance in fashion and after college went out into the world to show my version of it. Making formal and elegant pieces was something I had always enjoyed and though I previously had considered specializing in bridal; but it wasn’t until my friend and fellow creative needed a wedding dress fit for her soul that I had confirmation to create a bridal brand. |
